The end.
If you could break that small promise you made me, how could I ever trust you with more?
It was as much a test for you as it was for me, and I’d had faith in you; but you let me down, and it really hurt that you’d taken less than a month to do so. And you were so flippant about it.
It was at that moment I knew with complete finality that that chapter was closed. That ship has sailed.
You’re on your own. I wish you all the best.
