Remember, Prison Got No Broadband
May 2nd, 2006 by jadeite
“Family is over, talking politicks.”
“Everyone is talking politics these days…”
But no fear, I am a member of Singapore’s Apathetic Youth.
I will squelch my patriotick and politickal fervor, because otherwise MM*Lee will scold me on national TV and people will write letters to forums saying, “Tsk, kids nowadays, no respect for their elders.”
I will keep silent, then no one can shut me up.
I will do nothing, then no one can sue me.
I will not push the politickal envelope, because I might get paper cuts.
I will vote for - oh, sorry, non-issue, my G*RC has a walkover.
I will not blog, podcast or publish anything that persistently promotes a certain politickal view, or politickal party, because there is no one party in Singapore that I promote anyway.
They do a pretty good job on their own.
Also, I don’t want to go to prison, because (repeat after me) Prison Got No Broadband.
Don’t forget, hor.
