Baby-sellers

“Excuse me, did you see two China men around here?”
I looked at Mish and she shrugged.
“No, I don’t think so,” I told the security guard.
“Two China men, one wearing a long sleeved white shirt? No? You didn’t see?”
We shook our heads and looked appropriately puzzled. “We didn’t see any men around here…”
“They’re selling babies,” the security guard explained.
“Babies?!”
“Yah. I keep chasing them away but they always come back again.”
I raised my eyebrows at Mish. “Let’s buy a baby!”
“We can be bait!”
