They’re collecting votes for the NEW seven wonders of the world, because six of the present seven wonders are no more, save the Pyramids of Giza.

Go vote at http://www.new7wonders.com! I placed my vote for Angkor Wat, the Colosseum, Easter Island Statues, the Great Wall of China, the Treasury at Petra (I SAW THIS ONE!), the Pyramids of Giza, and Stonehenge.  I think a few of the other candidates are just too new and without character - I mean, the Sydney Opera House?  Seriously?

Go vote!  Voting is open til next year, when they will unveil the new seven wonders on the 7th of July 2007 (07.07.07).

For the first time in my life, I was woken up for breakfast in bed.  What a happy life!

So there I was fast asleep…(okay so it’s a posed photo.  Sue me :D)

When I was awakened by Xiaobin going…”Beth! Breakfast!”

Min and Bin made freshly-cooked pancakes slathered in maple syrup and golden butter and there was one just for me!  I took a huge bite…

Mmmmm.  Delicious.

Check it out - the sleepy, horrible eye-bagged look when I wake up in the morning.

All gone :( back to sleep with a happy smile on my face.  Heh.

Okay but I’m awake now!  And I do so love my roomie and Minmin :P thanks for the yummy breakfast in bed…that’s a first for me :)

Remember the customer who accidentally thwacked my lip and sent the shot flying over his friend?

Well he came back to the pub with Ferrero Rocher and another apology.  Heh.

So sweet!

It rained today, which made me smile because it was just so nice to be in the room with the wind blowing and the rain buffetting down in crazy sheets of heavy downpour.

Then “And When We Danced” came on iTunes, and I thought how lovely it would be to dance in the rain.

So I did.

Pranced around happily in the Hall 8 carpark for awhile and enjoyed the beautiful feeling of cold sweet rain on my face and soaking me through and through.  Okay, so the rain might not have been very clean :/ but it was just so lovely to be surrounded by rain and water and I had this crazy thought that the heavens were giving me a shower.  The haze became a distant memory and I was just grinning happily up at the sky and soaking up the rain.

Ended up taking a walk around NTU in the rain.  Wonder what those people in the cars thought as they drove past me walking on the side of the road and eschewing the covered walkway.  Teehee.

Take that Mrs. Lim, I haven’t forgotten how you stuck me in the damn principal’s office all bloody afternoon because you caught me dancing in the rain in primary school.

Well I’m 22 years old and I’m still going to dance in the rain if I want to!
