I personally think that Vitagen is much better as it contains less sugar. Both vitagen and yakult have lactobacillus.. good virus. but overall Vitagen FTW! yakult used to be my childhood suppliment but when i switched to vitagen, i found it easier to drink due to the less sugar.. :)

I love both…but i wonder, y after i have drink YAKULT … i always going to the loo…but if VITAGEN i dont feel anything … so funny~~~ but actually i think the YAKULT have richer taste. But VITAGEN taste not too sweet …both nice ~~~~

I dunno about others but hands down VITAGEN better than Yakult!!!!!!!!

The promotion yakult make, advertisement, operation from japan, research and all sort of make them look good but VITAGEN the best no mater wat!

Thats the fact and i have been drinking vitagen since childhood till i am now..

i didnt realise tt vitagen came in 125ml packs, i tot yakult and vitagen were of the same price, hence same value…it’s like WOW!!!but then coz there is always this yakult auntie who comes like once a fortnight, so everytime she would ask if we wanna buy, then my parents will buy from her from our doorstep(although NTUC Fairprice is like…less than 100 steps from my home–i havent counted actl…)
and so…after drinking yakult for a year(because of this yakult auntie), i went to try vitagen one day and found it like yuck! i didnt realise it b4..
BUT, im actl quite neutral–drinking wateva is in my fridge(almost all the time: Yakult, haha)

well i prefer Calpis for this type of drinks. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calpis for more details. it is japanese product. it also has grape favor. after the price/ml comparison there are not much difference between calpis vs the local vitagen (compared with concentrated version of calpis which you need to dilute it in order to drink). The calpis has much sweeter and richer taste then Yakult. It is also advertised that calpis use 100% organic fruits for flavoring and the manufacturing process are all-natural. At malaysia you can find calpis at KLCC isetan.
