Most probably be going off to Beijing after my exams! So there’s my graduation trip - I’m going to China. Hoho. And with whom? MY BROTHER.
Surprise surprise, I never thought I’d see the day my brother voluntarily stepped into China, and Beijing no less. I miss China a whole lot. I’m sure Beijing is vastly different from Xishuang Banna though. I wonder if I’ll be able to find my beloved mian xian and xiao long bao anywhere.
Bing is going off to Beijing to study for a semester’s exchange, so we’re going down to visit her after my exams. It’ll save a bit; going to China isn’t that expensive, plus free accommodation. Crap, I can’t remember what the exchange rate is. The last time I was in China I didn’t even really think about th exchange rate because I got tired of goggling my eyes out everytime I counted - what? so cheap? are you sure??!?!!! - but this time I suppose Beijing is a lot more expensive ha.
Great Wall of China here I come!
No more Bangkok trip for me then :/
Exchange rate is 5RMB to 1Sing. Anyway, my university is near the mountains (Chang Ping District), in the suburbs so you get great scenery, fresher air and much cheaper things than in the city. The city is 2 hours away. Ok I get really excited talk about going to Beijing but now I’m just praying to get my visa on time. ;p Eh, they even have Crystal Jade and Ikea there, in the city I mean.
I WANNA GO TOOOOOO
