Got my third star today. Am now officially a master (mistress?) in Scrabble. A bit anticlimactic though I must say - I’m not all as excited as I thought I would be.

Shrug.

Today’s games - managed to alternate between winning and losing all the way through. By the time I got to the last game I looked at Guan Hui and said, “Statistically you’ll definitely win this game. If I hold true to my pattern I’m going to lose, and anyhow I have a tendency to lose my last games in tournaments.”

Sigh, it came true. Oh well. It was kinda amusing how he actually started apologizing by the time he laid down his third bingo (after hitting me with high scores with Q, Z and X). My only bingo for the whole game was a pathetic KITTERS which isn’t good but he let slide because…otherwise I would have had a sub-300 game. Haha. Your mercy does you great credit, GH :)

This tourney I managed 11 bingos in eight games which is…okay, I guess. Hit my second 100-over point bingo with WADDINGS for 100 points and CARLInG close behind for 98 points. Nothing else very interesting except maybe for cLEMENT against Dorai which I purposely played instead of eLEMENT to get the nickel for the challenge.
