Say goodnight and go.

Skipping beats, blushing cheeks
I am struggling
Daydreaming, bed scenes in the corner cafe
And I’m left in bits, recovering tectonic, trembling
You get me everytime

Why’d you have to be so cute
It’s impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much
It’s bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go

One of these days
You’ll miss your train, and come stay with me
(It’s always say goodnight and go)
We’ll have drinks and talk about things
And any excuse to stay awake with you
You’d sleep here, I’d sleep there
But then the heating may be down again
At my convenience
We’d be good, we’d be great together
Go

Why’d you have to be so cute
It’s impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much
It’s bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go

Well, now.

That’s mighty interesting, innit?

WIKIPEDIA IS EVIL!

Too many spoilers boohoo.

I can’t resist spoilers :/

Got my room in Hall 13!

Finished my MOE applications!

My brand-new jelly shoes broke today because some moron stepped on my foot without apologizing.

Shihlin Taiwanese snack shop sells the freshest, plumpest, juiciest oysters in their mee sua that I have ever tasted.

Gripz is my new favorite shoe shop in the world because they stock my size in the most gorgeous shoes.  Do you know how difficult it is to find closed-toe shoes that fit me well?   Sucks to be a size 40 in Asia.

Taking IC photos in Orchard Road cost a flipping bomb.

I owe NTU a lot of money, but not after tomorrow!  Going back to NTU tomorrow to pay bills (otherwise cannot graduate then how?)

I love white lace dresses.  But I can’t pull off the sweet look.  Sob.

I’m quite tired of wearing black-and-white.

I am beautiful :)

Bin and Barbie’s photo exhibition is unofficially open!! And it looks freaking good! Yay I helped put some of it up!

Download their official invitation here!

In case you’re lazy to download their gorgeous invite (what’s wrong with you?) then well essentially, their exhibition is being held at library@orchard (that’s the one on the 5th floor of Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya) from now till 9th June. The official opening will be held on 2nd June, 3pm. It’s near Café Galilee.

The photo exhibition (Changing Tais: Fabric of a Nation) showcases some of the best photographs they took on their two trips to East Timor and brings to light the quieter, more domestic side of East Timor that only too easily gets swallowed up by the civil unrest in the war-torn area.

Bin and KX setting up

Lights off…

Lights on!! So pretty!

Bin gazes on their work

Just in case you’re not sure who’s who, here they are with their names :D

If you go, don’t forget to sign the guestbook!

Yay us!

Okay lah give you sneak peek! Don’t say don’t have! Go down to Orchard and see the rest and SIGN THE GUESTBOOK TO GIVE THEM LOVE :)

Logging into my email, I am greeted by a cheerful red announcement:

gmail.jpg

I can just imagine – a crackling fire, a sitting room with lush carpets and a deep couch. Gmail reclines on it, his shirt open to his waist, as a young buxom lady sprawls across his lap. She strokes her red-taloned hand against his chest.

“Oh, Gmail,” she purrs, low and throaty, “your attachment…it’s so big!”

:D

Along the same lines, I saw this book on display at Borders and couldn’t help cracking a horrified laugh. How terribly cliché can you get?! Too Wicked To Tame indeed.

ASDFASDFLASDFKJAHF I had such a bad first day.  Won only two games out of eight, and the rest were simply hopeless.  I was drawing incredibly terrible tiles – I’d keep something decent like OUT and draw IOOU.  Haaack.  Bloody depressing, until I got to play Michael Tang and it seemed like all the day’s luck had concentrated in one game.  Briskly trotted out beautiful bingos PALsIED, RANCORED, and VENTAILS one after another, ending the game with 492 points.  Scored a nice SEQUOIa for 112 points against Dewin too.

Still, the bad luck continued the next day – terrible luck like not drawing a single E against Ricky until the very last rack – until I drew Michael three games in a row because we were the bottom two.  Lady Luck seemed to have given Michael the cold shoulder because I suddenly started drawing lovely tiles.  Got a nice nine-letter bingo, DUELLISTS with EL on the board, and a simply gorgeous SHIVAReE.  My previous games had been so awfully tipped in my opponents’ favors that drawing decently balanced racks seemed like a real miracle for once.  Blah.

Me: Wah lao Marlon!  You took both blanks, four S’s, and JQXZ!!
Him: But at least you got the K!
Me: ……

Following in my own time-honored tradition I lost my last game, and ended with five wins out of 16 :( and dropped five rating points.  Sniffle.

Still, I think playing SHIVAReE just chirked me up so much.  Teehee.

Tomorrow’s the Singapore Open and I am completely unprepared. Sniffle.

Went down to library@orchard today to help Bin and Barbie set up for their exhibition but didn’t get much done…pity. Was quite looking forward to helping out actually since my days are rather empty (spending it watching Heroes which is grotesquely gory. I had to sedate myself with Chinese music videos last night before I could go to sleep). Ended up at our favorite sushi place for dinner – Ichiban Boshi!

I do so loves my newsboy cap and my suspenders. Hoho. Poor Bin wasn’t feeling photo-worthy what with having a super suay day so she snapped us instead.

And the number one reason why I can’t leave my cupboard doors open at home:

Silly kitty.

And yes, I’m aware I have a singularly uncolorful wardrobe :(  I need more pretty colors and prints!

[1 corner turned]

Discovered this really cute little website with the most adorable pics heh.  In fact I think I’ve got a post somewhere in my blog that had a picture from her website.  The one with the pancakes having a mass maple syrup orgy :D

Her name’s Meghan Murphy and the website’s over at http://www.kawaiinot.com.  I especially loved this one because it’s poignant and sad as well as just too darn cute…
