Dear Mr. Fantasy:
The reality of you preys on my mind.
You could be, for instance,
cobbled from my memory, desire
A patchwork man, sewn from
bits of show and song.
I might have handmade you
Carved you from a block of imagination
Crafted each part by heart
Just the way I like it – just so.

Dear Mr. Fantasy:
All this, I’ve dreamed of -
The exact curve of your arm, your stubble
Earlobes and eyelashes, that laugh
The way you cradle your guitar
(I want to be your guitar.)
Perhaps I made you in my head
Picking all the things that especially appeal
This and that, all that, all this
that’s you. How else could you be
just what I wanted (even before
I knew what it was?)

Oh, Mr. Fantasy:
You’re wind. You’re fire.
You’re a tall dark stranger
The Man on the Moon.
You’re just what the doctor ordered,
a little girl’s pipe dream,
a secret fantasy.
A soap opera in the middle of the day.
You’re a whole bag full of cheesy clichés
You’re Fabio, you’re Brad
You’re Johnny Depp.

Dear Mr. Fantasy:
If I closed my eyes just for a second

would you disappear?

[1 corner turned]

I’ve been awake for a while now
You’ve got me feelin’ like a child now
‘Cause every time I see your bubbly face
I get the tingles in a silly place

And it starts in my toes
And I crinkle my nose
Wherever it goes
I always know
That you make me smile
Please stay for a while now
Just take your time
Wherever you go

The rain is falling on my window pane
But we are hiding in a safer place
Under covers staying dry and warm
You give me feelings that I adore

What am I gonna say
When you make me feel this way
I just mmmmm

I’ve been asleep for a while now
You tuck me in just like a child now
‘Cause every time you hold me in your arms
I’m comfortable enough to feel your warmth

And it starts in my soul
And I lose all control
When you kiss my nose
The feeling shows
’cause you make me smile baby
Just take your time now
Holdin’ me tight

Wherever wherever wherever you go
Wherever wherever wherever you go

wherever you go
I always know
‘Cause you make me smile
Even just for a while

is the new Blog.

I’ve added Catbook onto my profile so that now kitty has a Facebook page all to herself. Hoho.

Also, some kind soul left this link on my last post: http://www.keebler.net/flickr2facebook/. Uploads your photos from Flickr directly to Facebook! Sheer genius!

Thank you, invisible kind soul.

Okay a little bit of photo madness. Aiyo it’s so confusing these days cuz I have to dual upload my photos – once on Facebook and once on Flickr – and then title them three times, including on my blog.

Photos make me dizzy (yet also so happy! Photos! Photos! Smile for me darling! Pout! Twist! Yes!)

The gang of crazy nuts I hang out with!

Wee :)

[3 bends in the road]

She looms over the horizon
pale peach pink, a perfect round
like a melon. She hovers, ripe
a heavy drench of dripping light
A sultry whisper, the damp of dawn.

She twists. Slowly – a dip, a roll
A lotus bud sliding through slick fingers
and the dusk between her thighs
Salt-sweet musk, the deepening dark
Red wine, lush smoke, smooth skin.

Ancient. Her hips curve round
the smoothness of her belly
The taut and the firm of it
rising like a moon, an apple
The arch of her back lifting over and up.

Hourglass. Sand dune. Gourd.

Somewhere in my hall from out my window I can hear a group of people singing “The Potter’s Hand”.

It makes me happy and secure to know that somewhere out there are other people who love and want to worship God. :)

Can’t wait for BS this Friday!

Shyam asked, so I went to find out:

Another study on social networking eating up employee time is out and once again the numbers are huge. According to employment law firm Peninsula, UK workers are costing their companies more than £130m (about $260M USD) daily as a result of using Facebook an estimated 233 million hours each month while on the job. This compares to the $4 billion annually (about $11M per day) that another firm estimated was being “wasted” on Facebook in Australia.

There you go. £130m DAILY.

Am now sitting pretty in Starbucks at Raffles City Shopping Center. I don’t know why but laptopping in random cafes makes me happy. Maybe it’s the happy chill factor of just sipping a latte and doing work in a pretty cafe that chirks me up. My favorite spot is still that tiny corner at Cafe Cartel Plaza Sing though… :)

Okay the story of my Sunday is just too long and complicated to go through – save that it was a real rollercoaster of angry-frustrated-happy-blissful-satiated-annoyed-pissed off-grumpy-happy-augh-irritated.

Schoolwork is picking up and I’m getting really swamped – I can feel the pressure building from every side and I feel a bit like I’m in one of those old trash compactors. You know, the type they always show in old TV shows where someone’s stuck in a room with the walls closing in on all sides. So many things and people are giving me pressure and my head’s about to explode like Mosling’s stove.

It’s just so frustrating that I’m not understood, that things are not explainable to the people who opinions I value. At the same time heartwarming that some people do understand and are supportive. Why can’t people just be nice.

Time oh please pass quickly, I’m so tired of studying, I’m so tired of waiting for all this to be over, I need a fresh new year and a new start.

More chips! :D

In hall for the weekend and everything’s quiet…

Sigh.
