Love is…
…when you’ve seen me at my worst, and you still love me just as much or even more than when you only knew me at my best.
…when you’ve seen me at my worst, and you still love me just as much or even more than when you only knew me at my best.

Got my Kittenwar book in the mail today :) It’s terrifyingly adorable - how can so much cuteness be packed into one book?! - and very well done. I’m going to bring it around everywhere and show Kinky off to random strangers on the street like a proud mama. And my name’s in the contributor list too. Yay! Five seconds of fame!
Many thanks to Fraser and the rest of the Kittenwar crew for the copy of my book.
Speaking of kitties, my Sash is busy sitting around looking pained, refusing food, and shooting me glances that say she’s terribly upset with me. You know the Puss in Boots look from Shrek? That’s it. Guilt is eating me out from the inside. :( I’d rather put up with her wailing nonstop for five days every month than see her look at me like that. Sniffle.
E-learning week makes me do more work than I usually do during the week. I mean, I normally sit in class listening with one ear while I doodle randomly in my notebook and rouse every five minutes to take some sort of notes down. Now I actually find that I have to do coursework for e-learning :/
They should make every week e-learning week. I’d pay more attention and wouldn’t have to go all the way to Boon Lay.
What a miserably cold, sniffly day.
Attacked by the flu bug.
My sweet little kitty is also bearing an enormous grudge against me for sending her to get sterilized and get her shots today. She just hides under the bed, in obvious pain from the surgery wound, and looks at me with sad and hugely reproachful eyes. When she came back she was mewing so pathetically and just sat there quietly and miserably while I stroked her head. Can’t touch any other part of her body except her head cuz I’m so scared of hurting her. Plus she’s not exactly happy that I’ve had to push pills down her throat. Heartpain heartpain :(
Utter guilt.
Choir sang this as the anthem in service today, and I love love love this song even though at first I thought it was a bit weird.
The chords are amazing and the ‘alleluia’ part is just so heart-burstingly emotional. Thought evening choir was going to muck this up because we weren’t sounding too confident during rehearsal but somehow I felt everything fell into place during service and it sounded really good :)
It’s something that’s constantly on my mind - we’re so small and unimportant, each of us, but God knows us all and every single bit of our minds and hearts…it’s mind-boggling :)
Shaun found a vid of Sandi Patty singing it (solo) on YouTube…not the choral arrangement we sang but her being all diva-ish and all (I kinda prefer the choral version; you can find full choir as well as men’s choral arrangement on YouTube).
When I gaze into the night skies and see the work of Your fingers;
The moon and stars suspended in space
Oh, what is man that You are mindful of him?You have given man a crown of glory and honor
and have made him a little lower than the angels
You have put him in charge of all creation
The beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea
But what is man, oh what is man
that You are mindful of him?O Lord our God, the majesty and glory of Your name
transcends the earth and fills the heavens
O Lord our God, little children praise you perfectly
and so would we - and so would we.Alleluia, alleluia, the majesty and glory of your name
Alleluia, alleluia, the majesty and glory of your name
Alleluia, alleluia!
Can I just say - WE KICKED ASS.
We haven’t seen such a definitive thrashing since the 7-0 game against Southampton awhile ago. Six gorgeous goals - two from Torres, two from Xabi, one from Voronin and one from Babel - against a hapless Derby side. Wooo.
And now we’re at the TOP OF THE PREMIERSHIP TABLE, BABY! It’s such a rush to watch them play because Pool’s superbly on fire now :D
Happy happy!
