HDR photos

I couldn’t believe these were actual photographs at first because the exposure and resultant effect make these pictures look like they’re vector art or something. But no - they’re real :/ I’ve always loved this effect because it makes the colors so vibrant and larger-than-life, and have tried that on one or two of my own photos - but of course not with the professionalism and quality of these. I is only a n00b. Here are some of the nicest pics off a Flickr HDR photo set.

“In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.” - From Wikipedia.
